The property and business of APCOM shall be managed by the Governing Board consisting of up to nineteen (19) Directors and the Executive Director.

Governing Board Structure
The APCOM coalition is comprised of community organisations and agencies involved in the issues of HIV among MSM, the government sector, donors, technical experts and the UN system, all of which are committed to improving the HIV response for MSM in the Asia Pacific region.
Since it’s inception in 2007, APCOM has been under the direction of an Interim Governing Board (IGB) as described in the APCOM Constitution. The current IGB was appointed in consultation with known community leaders and, for certain positions, in consultation with UNAIDS. APCOM is currently developing a transparent and representative election process for the establishment of a Governing Board (GB) as also described in the APCOM constitution. On finalisation of this election process, this information will be made available on the APCOM website. These elections for community representatives are planned for 2009, to be conducted with each sub-region or area as noted below.
