Partners
The Asia Pacific Coalition on Male Sexual Health (APCOM) is supported by a variety of independent funders. APCOM also receives significant indirect support through technical expertise and leadership guidance through its partners, which includes international non-government organisations, the UN system family of agencies including UNAIDS, non-government and community based groups and networks, other civil society organisations and individuals.

| Asia Pacific Network of Sex Workers (APNSW) | Strategic partnership for development of an Asia Pacific Transgender Network, and other issue-based partnerships on advocacy and human rights matters. |
| Asian Development Bank (ADB) | ADB supported a peer-reviewed study and policy paper on the amount of investment in HIV interventions for MSM in Asia and the Pacific, elaborating on messages contained in the 2008 report of the AIDS in Asia Commission. |
| Australia Federation of AIDS Organisations (AFAO) | Through its Asia and Pacific MSM Initiatives, AFAO supports strengthening of APCOM's governance, strategic management and advocacy capacity, using AusAID funding. |
| Coalition of Asia Pacific Regional Network on HIV/AIDS (the Seven Sisters) | Strategic partnership on key advocacy issues, including the development of gender guidelines for the UN system, inclusion of sexuality and transgender concerns in the guidelines, participation in ICAAP and collaboration through CSAT. |
| Constella Futures | Together with USAID, Constella Futures provided support to the preparation of a policy brief on the importance of investing in MSM HIV prevention, based on a background paper they prepared and released at the 2006 Risks and Responsibilities International Consultation. |
| Family Health International - Asia Pacific Regional Office (FHI-APRO) | Support for briefings of donors and INGOs on MSM and HIV issues following the 2008 AIDS Commission for Asia Report, technical advice to the Interim Governing Board and strategic directions planning and support for HIV among MSM in Asia and the Pacific. |
| Hivos - Humanist Institute for Cooperation with Developing Countries (in Dutch: Humanistisch Instituut voor Ontwikkelingssamenwerking) | Hivos is a Dutch non-governmental organisation inspired by humanist values. Together with local organisations in developing countries, Hivos seeks to contribute to a free, fair and sustainable world in which citizens - women and men - have equal access to the opportunities and resources and can determine their own future. Hivos was the first independent donor to support APCOM and continues to provide longer-term support for core operating costs of the APCOM Secretariat, community network development, conference presentations and technical advice to the Board. |
| Naz Foundation International (NFI) | NFI is the founding agency and fiscal agent for APCOM and provides, through its Chief Executive Shivananda Khan OBE, management support, policy direction and strategic guidance. Mr. Khan also serves as the Chairperson of the Interim Governing Board of APCOM and provides technical advice to the Board. |
| UNAIDS | UNAIDS, through its Regional Support Team - Asia and the Pacific, has supported APCOM from the beginning. Extensive leadership and support from UNAIDS has included sponsoring meetings of the Interim Governing Board, travel support for APCOM representatives to attend international meetings and APCOM Board functions, and support for additional UNAIDS and UN system support from the Unified Budget and Workplan (UBW) and HIV/AIDS Technical Support Facility (TSF) Southeast Asia and the Pacific. UNAIDS also provided funding for the development of this website. |
| UNDP | UNDP supports leadership development activities, including support for a regional programme strategy development process, studies of the legal situation and of media coverage of MSM in the Asia Pacific region, and supports network building in China. |
| UNESCO | UNESCO, with a grant from UNAIDS, provides leadership support, works with partners to develop jointly agreed standards for interventions and aims to support MSM-network building in the Greater Mekong Sub-region and insular Southeast Asia. |
